GTS at Work

 Main Login Page

Main Login Page

Upon entering the proper address for GTS, a user will be prompted for his Username and Password login credentials. Credentials are created and managed by the client's GTS administrator.

 Incidents Page

Incidents Page

The main incidents page displays a list of incidents already in the system, and also provides access to GTS's main navigation tabs (Incidents, Email Filters, Users, Admin and Log out).  The Incidents tab is the point from which a user begins entering information on Graffiti Incidents, and from this tab they can locate incidents, create/edit incidents, or save and load Search Filters (Email Filters).

 Incident Sub Tab

Incident Sub Tab

Each graffiti incident is defined by its basic information, such as the date, time and location at which it occurred.  Also available are fields to track police zones, census areas, neighborhoods and municipalities.  The taxonomy of field names can be altered to match the peculiarities of a particular country or region.

 Characteristics Sub Tab

Characteristics Sub Tab

The characteristics of each incident may be tracked in detail, including the Tag Name, Description, color, medium and type.  A flag for "Gang Related" graffiti exists that can help to elevate the priority of the incident in the system.  As a record is being managed, each change that adds more information to an incident results in the logging of a Date/Time/User stamp at the bottom of the incident window. That way, dialogue between investigators is coordinated to ensure that the right individuals can follow up with each other regardless of division or office affiliation.

 Photos Sub Tab

Photos Sub Tab

An unlimited number of photos may be attached to each incident record in GTS.  A client's only constraint on the total number of images housed in the system is storage space, which, however, is completely scalable and can be increased to meet expanding needs.  Photos can be scanned from printed images, taken with digital cameras or even downloaded from a mobile phone.  Uploading to GTS is quick and easy and each image is displayed in its original size and resolution, and cataloged in a thumbnail preview gallery in the sub tab that specifies Photo Type, Description and Image title.

 Suspects Sub Tab

Suspects Sub Tab

Any number of suspects may be tracked in relation to each graffiti incident.  Biographical information can be recorded along with notations on their arrest and disposition.

 Contacts Sub Tab

Contact Sub Tab

Contact details for a witness reporting an incident can be recorded and tracked in GTS as well, thereby facilitating quick follow-up in the case of a need for additional information.  There is no limit to the number of contacts that can be associated with any particular incident.

 Links Sub Tab

Links Sub Tab

The Links section of the GTS allows users to quickly and easily associate an incident with one or more other incidents in the system if there is suspicion that certain incidents are somehow related, or that they share the same suspect.  The "Find" function allows GTS users to search the database for those similar incidents and then link them.

 Clean Up Sub Tab

Clean Up Sub Tab

Information regarding the clean-up of incidents (graffiti abatement) may be tracked on the "Clean Up" tab.   Public works or other abatement teams are given a more limited access to GTS in order to record pertinent details of clean up, including material costs and post clean-up photos.

 Clean Up Sub Tab

Email Sub Tab

Email Filters Tab

The GTS supports an intelligent "Email filter" function that allows users to receive system-generated email alerts when incidents matching predefined criteria are added to the system. For example, if a suspect known to use a certain tag is scheduled for a preliminary court appearance but is not presently detained, an email filer can be established to alert the investigating officers or prosecutors if a new incident with that suspect's "tag" is recorded in GTS. That way, the most comprehensive case possible is built against the offender.

 Users Tab

Users Tab

Authorized GTS user accounts are managed by the GTS Administrator within the client's organization.  An unlimited number of users are supported by the system, and extensive customization of those users' rights is possible.  The Administrator can set read/write access permissions for each primary area of GTS for each user, thereby extracting maximum value from the system!

 Admin Tab

Admin Tab

All drop-down menu options within GTS are controlled by the Administrator or other authorized users, thereby allowing for extensive customization of the way in which incident information is recorded and tracked.  This level of control also ensures that all of a client's GTS users follow the correct naming conventions and standards when recording and managing incidents.
